Since 1992, Salute Italian Restaurant has been serving Racine the same way it began—with family, tradition, and a whole lot of love. Founded by three sisters—Anna, Gemma, and Ida—we didn’t just open a restaurant. We opened our home.
Everything we make comes from recipes passed down through generations, inspired by our family's roots in Italy and the traditions of Nonna's kitchen. Our pasta is still rolled by hand, our sauces still simmer for hours, and every meal is prepared the way it should be—with patience, care, and no shortcuts.
Growing up surrounded by the kind of love shared around a family table—the kind found in a slow Sunday sauce, fresh homemade pasta, and a seat always saved for one more—doesn't leave you. It becomes part of who you are. More than 33 years later, that same spirit still fills our kitchen.
Today, the Nonnas aren't just a memory. Anna, Gemma, and Ida are still here, carrying on the traditions that made Salute a Racine favorite, while a new generation helps ensure those traditions continue for years to come.
